Dr. Dinah Cloud earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 2007 where she specialized in psychological testing. She was a Ronald McNair Fellow during her graduate training. She also earned a BA in Sociology with special distinction in 2001 and an M.Ed. in Community Counseling in 2003, both from the University of Oklahoma. She completed her internship with the Oklahoma Health Consortium which included rotations at the OU Health Sciences Center, Goddard Health Center, and the Cleveland County Health Department.

Dr. Cloud maintained a private practice in Norman, OK and then later in Edmond, OK. where she specialized in psychological evaluations and individual therapy from 2008 to 2023. Then, for two years Dr. Cloud taught high school psychology in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she enjoyed teaching and mentoring young adults. A recent move back to Edmond has inspired Dr. Cloud to return to her love of clinical work and psychological evaluations.
